Is Kitset like IKEA where I need to design my Kitchen using standard sized cabinets?
Absolutely not. Every Kitset Kitchen is manufactured to suit your individual requirements so you’re not limited to cabinets of standard size and style. This ensures that your kitchen will fit your available space perfectly and allows you to put your personal touch on the design.
How much does a kitchen cost?
Whilst a small Kitset Kitchen may cost $2500 and a large Kitset Kitchen may cost $9000. The majority of our kitchens cost around $5000.
Can I have a price list?
In order to provide our customers with accurate quotations we prefer to provide a quotation for each particular job. By having one of our kitchen consultants look at the proposed design, we can be sure that every customer is provided with an accurate quotation for a kitchen that will be as functional and stylish as possible.
My cabinetmaker quoted me $7000 for a kitchen and Kitset Kitchens have just quoted $4000. Am I compromising quality by saving money with a Kitset Kitchen?

I’m not much of a handyperson so how hard is the assembly and installation?
All Kitset Kitchens come with step-by-step assembly instructions, or view our instructional videos online. All cabinets are individually bundled and all parts are labeled, pre-drilled and edged, ready for simple assembly.
Our kitchens have been successfully assembled and installed by customers who have admitted to having not previously handled a screwdriver!
We do however recommend that you have used basic tools.

Can I have some help with the kitchen design?
Certainly. Our kitchen consultants can ensure that your kitchen design is both stylish and functional. Bring your plan into the showroom and discuss it with our trained consultants.
How will my kitchen arrive?
Our kitchens come packed on individual pallets and plastic-shrink wrapped. Within the pack each cabinet is individually bound together and all parts are clearly labeled. All of the necessary hardware is included and clearly labeled. Step-by-step assembly instructions and an instructional video are supplied along with the kitchen plan.
What sort of vehicle will I need to pick up my kitchen?
We advise that a 8′ x 5′ trailer be used to pick up the larger kitchens. That way, the entire pallet can be loaded onto the trailer, which ensures safe and simple transportation. A flat tray truck is also good. A kitchen may weigh up to a tonne.
I don’t live anywhere near a Kitset Kitchens showroom, is it possible for the kitchen to be delivered to me at a reasonable cost?
Yes. Our kitchens are packaged so that they can be easily freighted across the country, and we have delivery agreements with a number of carriers. We have arranged for kitchens to be safely and cost effectively delivered as far away as Darwin!
How long will it take for my kitchen to arrive?
Kitchens are available for pick up or delivery around 4 weeks after the your order has been confirmed.
Is there a quality guarantee?
Yes. Kitset Kitchens supplies all cabinets, doors and benchtops with a 30 year guarantee, and all hardware with a lifetime guarantee.
Is the product Australian Made?
Yes. Kitset Kitchens are manufactured in Victoria and the company is proudly Australian-owned.
Can the Kitset System be used for cupboards in other areas of my house?
Absolutely. The cabinets in the Kitset System can be easily adapted for use in other areas of the house such as the laundry, bathroom or home office.
