The Kitset Kitchens System offers customers the opportunity to achieve their dream kitchens and make savings without compromise.
When you understand the quality, savings and versatility associated with the Kitset Kitchens System there’s every reason to choose Kitset.
The materials used in the kitset system are exactly the same as those found in the most exclusive kitchen showrooms.
When you combine the quality and precision of our hardware with the strength and durability of our Australian produced cabinetry, doors and benchtops, you’re looking at a truly world-class kitchen.
All Kitset cabinetry is constructed using Highly Moisture Resistant (HMR) components – an extremely important feature that ensures cabinets will be protected from swelling when they come into contact with water. Our cabinets also contain solid 16mm backs and ABS edging to ensure lasting performance. Adjustable legs allow level bench height on uneven floors, and shelving is adjustable. Some imported kitchens contain high levels of carcinogenic formaldehyde. Rest assured, all Kitset Kitchens meet strict Australian design and safety standards.
All Kitset cabinets feature hinges and drawer runners with a lifetime warranty. Kitset now makes the previously exclusive soft-closing drawer runner system accessible to everyone. These drawers must be seen to be believed and have previously been restricted to the most expensive kitchens but there’s now no reason for anyone to accept a drawer of lesser quality.
doors and benchtops
All our melamine and vinyl doors come from Australia’s leading suppliers – Polytec & Laminex. We also offer a wide range of solid timber doors and benchtops which are available in many different timber species. Aluminium and glass doors are also available in the Kitset range.
We’ve developed a cost-effective system that means you can get a fabulous looking kitchen of superior quality at a great price. How?
- Our state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques ensure that production costs are kept to a minimum.
- High turnover gives us strong buying power with our suppliers.
- Customers can save on design and installation costs by playing a simple role in these processes.
- Our staff aren’t paid huge sales commissions
Unlike other kitchen systems, a Kitset Kitchen provides you with total design flexibility. The cabinets that make up each kitchen are individually manufactured to fit your available space and appliances perfectly.
The cabinets can be utilised in other areas of the home too. Whether it be for your bathroom, laundry or office, the Kitset system is so flexible that you can use it for anything from vanity units to filing drawers.
We’re also flexible with colour. If our standard range doesn’t contain the exact colour you’re after, we will often be able to source it for you.
Also, if you’ve got your heart set on a particular benchtop or handle that is outside of our range, you can source it separately and let us supply the rest. It’s just another way we offer unlimited options to help you achieve the exact look and feel you’d like.

We are about Kitchens
Kitset Kitchens is a family-owned business that has been at the forefront of kitchen manufacturing in Australia for three generations.
The business was founded by renowned joiner, Stan Nagorcka, in 1946. Stan was a perfectionist, a keen innovator and a remarkable tradesman who produced beautiful hand-crafted timber furniture and joinery from his factory in Hamilton, Victoria.
Following Stan’s death in 1975, the family focused the business on the production of high-quality kitchens.
Since then, the business has grown significantly and the expanding network of showrooms has attracted many thousands of loyal customers. Kitset Kitchens are now regularly delivered to all states of Australia and also exported.
Now under the guidance of Stan’s daughter and grandson, the current 5000m2 factory is one of the largest of its type in Victoria.
Whilst this new facility utilises the most advanced European manufacturing technology, it is located just around the corner from Stan’s original workshop and proudly retains his strong commitment to innovation and quality.
